What Could Be The Actual Problem Behind Food Getting Stuck In Esophagus?
When I swallow food it feels like it gets stuck in my esophagus. If I swallow water it will go down. I can feel it going down. tell me what my problem might be. I do a lot of burping and I do get heartburn. I am taking omeprazole pills for years. I take one 20 mg a day and feel like that is not enough.

As you are mentioning that you feel difficulty while swallowing and you also have symptoms of burping and heartburn , it looks like that you are having problem of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) means problem of severe acidity.
According to me you should visit your GP again and get the medications change for better relief.
