What Could Be The Alternate Medicine For Ritalin As Lamictal Is Not Of Much Help?

I usually take 10 mg ritatlin 2-3 x day. I have two 7 day pill boxes, one for day, one for night. I pre filled the night one with ritalin tablets instead of lamictal. The pills look alike. I had insomnia and only slept 3 hours last night and had to work all day. An hour after taking my night time pills tonight, my heart was racing a little and I had the feeling of impending doom. I ran to the pill boxes. sure enough I prefilled the night one with ritalin instead of lamictal and I took 20 mg instead of 10, and I usually only take 10 mg 1-3 times a day with the latest being at 5p. I put a call into my P-doc to see if she had any ideas of what I could take to counteract the ritalin but she hasn t called back.
