What Could Be The Cause Of A Small, White,itchy Patch In My Tongue?
what could be the cause of a small, white,itchy patch in the center of my tongue.. slightly raised and is irritated when i brush my tongue.. it always shows up around the time of year that i have allegies bc i use my tongue to scratch the roof of my mouth

Hello,
First of all never brush your tongue. God has made arrangement for that .Your tongue gets cleaned by itself .If you brush more then it could damage the skin of tongue.
You should consult an ENT specialist as examination of the patch is very important to rule out any underlying disease.
If it comes only in some season then it could be a fungal infection due to decreased immunity.You can use antifungal mouth paint to get rid of it.
