What Could Be The Cause Of Chest Pain While Breathing?

every time I breathe in I get chest pain, it feels like a boulder is sitting on my lungs its very difficult to breathe, i have to breathe in very deeply to feel like ive got enough air in my lungs, but it doesn t help with the chill feeling boulder on my lungs, queries?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should first consult pulmonologist and get done PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test ) and chest x ray.
Chest pain on breathing and urge to take deep breath can be seen in
1. Bronchitis
2. Pneumonia
So PFT is needed to rule out bronchitis.
Chest x ray is needed to rule out pneumonia.
If both are normal than no need to worry much. It may be due to anxiety or due to muscular pain.
So avoid stress and anxiety and take good painkiller and muscle relaxant.
