Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
hi, usually the hormones in implants stimulate appetite. I am not sure the decreased appetite is due to the implant. increased sense of smell is seen commonly with migraine headaches and sometimes as a precursor to seizures. i would suggest you visit with an endocrinologist to evaluate these symptoms.

Nephrologist Dr. Rakesh Madhyastha's  Response
Hello

Thanks for the query

Hypersomina is usually seen in patients who are on contraceptive pills. It is due to the hormones released by these agents. However loss of appetite is an unrelated issue which could be because of gastritis. You could take Tab Pantoprazole one a day before food for a week and if it doesnt subside please approach a physician

I hope I was of help

Regards
