What Could Be The Chances Of Healthy Pregnancy While Having A History Of Miscarriage Recently?
hi doctor,i am 29 years old married since 1 year and my weight is 65 kgs.I had an missed obortion in august 2012 which was my 3rd month when the doctor ultrasound me ,they found that there was no sign of baby growth and absence of heart beat. We want to have baby this year and planning.what are chances to have a healthy pregnancy and delivery a healthy.I am scared because of my previous experience. Also Please suggest me if going for a baby in 30 s will increases the chances of miscarriage as i have read in 30 fertility ratio decreases.. thanks in advance..
Dear member, Thanks for writing to healthcare magic. Your concerns at valid. let me assure you your chance of getting a healthy baby is as good as any lady who has never had a miscarriage. Sometimes a baby or embryo if abnormal then it will miscarriage. The chances of it repeating again and again is less than 5%.so the best you can do is do following tests 1complete blood count 2. Thyroid profile and Hba1C 3. Take vaccine for rubella 4. Tab folvite 5mg daily 3 months even before you try for pregnancy . 5. Low dose aspirin 75 mg after pregnancy test positive. your age may not matter much as you are only 30. If above 35 then it's a cause for concern. please get Back with reports. thanks Dr Bhagyashree.
