What Could Be The Large Blister On The Toe That Have Drained All Fluid And Advised For Bactrim?
I have a large open blister under my pinky toe..all fluid seems to have drained but left an open moist sore with unpleasant odor. I'm taking antibiotics per doctors order called bactrim. Do I need to revisit doctor or wait for medication to do its job.
It seems that you might have shoe dermatitis or friction blister which is ruptured and complicated with secondary bacterial infection. You should be investigated for DM. Take heavy antibiotics like cefixime. Take anti inflammatory drugs. Cleanse the affected part in savlone containing water. Apply antibiotic cream. Take bed rest. You may be improved after few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
