What Could Be The Pain In Knee While Walking After I Injured It?
1 and a half weeks ago i was playing Wii Dance Party 3 and I heard a loud pop from my knee and down I went in pain. I went and had an xray and MRI done and the dr said I have arthritis in my knee. I am 44 yo. female. The pain has is almost gone except when I step wrong. But when I walk my knee feels like it is going to buckle or give out on me. It has never felt like this until I hurt it. I dont think arthritis just appears overnight. So what could be wrong? Is it arthritis or something more.
The symptoms can be related to arthritis. To confirm the diagnosis, I recommend doing the rheumatoid factor level and ERS level.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest avoiding activities that can trigger the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
