What Could Be The Reason For Bottom Lip To Get Redder Than Usual?

Hi there. I am worried how my bottom lip have suddenly got redder than usual. I had blood tests done to check if i may have an undetected illness and the blood tests came back normal. They check for blood count, cdc etc. I did not carry on to have an hiv test. My question is would those blood tests rule out hiv as well or should i get tested specifically for hiv? Please help

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question, the redness over the lip could be secondary to some allergic reaction or trauma or hematoma or arterovenous malformation...consult your oral physician let him do complete examination and if required you might need to go for MRI (If it is arterovenous malformation)....nothing to worry...no need to get HIV test done for this lesion..if you can get it done for personal interest...
i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
