What Could Be The Reason For Dizziness/vomiting Post Anti-diabetic Medication?
My mother is a diabetic taking Januvia, Metformin, lisinopril, glimepiride and insulin. She wakes up feeling ok, but after eating breakfast and taking her medication, she often gets dizziness, diarrhea and then nausea leading to vomiting. Trying to figure out why. She is often sick for an hour or more, and then sometimes feels ok the rest of the day, and sometimes not.
Hello, There could be two reasons for her symptoms. 1st.... it could be due to hypoglycemia caused by the use of antidiabetic medications and,if this is the reason then it would require readjustment of her doses of medicines. 2nd...it could be due to the side effects of medicine like metformin and glimmipride. You must consult the doctor and get the medicines reviewed. Thanks
