What Could Be The Reason For Having Inflammation In Nose And Throat?

Hi, i'm having difficulties with inflammation in my nose that drys out and then really runny as well as inflammation of my throat with non stop hacking and coughing. nothing is coming up when i cough, i haven't went to the doctor due to lack of insurance. i have aches and pains in my neck, chest and back, i do smoke but only been smoking for 2 years (not heavily). I so i was wondering could i have just common cold?

Inflammation in nose and throat is caused by a variety of diseases like infections of sinuses, upper respiratory tract infection....
Common cold will not cause pain in neck and chest until it is complicated by or progressed to respiratory tract infection.
This requires treatment by oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs along with drugs for cold.

Hence I suggest you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
