What Could Be The Reason For Having Light Red Rashes On My Neck, Dry Itchy Face Around The Hairline, Nausea And Loose Motion?
hi i have a light red rashes on my neck and upper chest as well a few on my upper arms. 1 cm approx in diameter and itchy and slightly burning. my face is dry and itchy around the hair line. I did have nausea and gas for about two weeks which ended up in loose motion on the 25th-just about 10 hrs -then cleared up-went on almost 1 1/2 days of BRAT diet. Now the rash?
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Your systemic symptoms are probably unrelated to your skin rashes. You could be having seborrheic dermatitis. It is a type of eczema, treated by steroid, emollients, oral antifungal etc. Another unlikely possibility in your case could be biotin or zinc deficiency. Here one may have seborrheic dermatitis like rashes associated with diarrhoea( though unlikely possibility as you had single episode of diarrhoea) I would advise that you meet a dermatologist for a proper evaluation. Hope this helped. Take care
