What Could Be The Reason For Having Numbness And Burning On Front Of My Thigh?

A couple months ago i was at work just standing there and suddenly it felt like something was burning front of my thigh and i looked and nothing was there. but it was intense. It made me scream. eversince then i have had numbness almost covering te entire front of my thigh. what could this be?

Cause could be due to nerve compression or deficiency of vit b12. Through clinical evaluation is required to reach the diagnosis. taking methylcobalamin supplements will be helpful.
