What Could Be The Reason For Having Pain On The Left Side Of My Stomach?

Hey i have a pain on the left side of my stomach and it has happened 3 times now and i cant sleep because of it. It only happens during night when i am about to go to bed and it hurts like hell and when i finally manage to sleep i wake up feeling just fine.
