Hi,
If you have missed your period, it could be either pregnancy or simply, the body resetting itself to the absence of the pill. To clarify, you should get a HPT with a fresh early morning sample of urine if you are 3-7 days late for your period or go for the serum beta-hCG assay if earlier and for a better confirmation. If pregnancy is confirmed, this bleeding could be due to implantation. You would also need a trans-vaginal sonogram to aid further. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
