What Could Be The Reason For Having Swelling In The Upper Left Hard Pallet Of My Mouth And Sore Throat?

the upper left hard pallet of my mouth is swollen and puffy, since the middle of the night, have had cold with sore throat, post-nasal drip, coughing, etc. for one week. neck is sore and tender. really just curious about the roof of my mouth. should i just wait and see if it goes away on its own?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
The symptoms are possibly because of the throat infection, which is causing post nasal drip leading to swelling in the mucosa of the roof of the mouth.
Once the infection comes down the post nasal drip also reduces there by the symptoms will come down.
Hope you are on antibiotics and antihistamines, which will helps in reducing the symptoms. Wait for some days the symptoms will come down.
