What Could Be The Reason For Intermittent Pain In Kidney?

I have had a mild pain in my kidney for maybe a year on and off. It aches in the cold weather and the is only in one kidney on the right side of my body. I spoke to my mother and she mentioned a kidney infection but ive had the mild pain for a long time now? It isnt concerning but lately its been playing on my mind! If you could get back to me that would be great.

Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!
I would recommend a urinalysis and a Kub ultrasound. If these tests come out negative then a disease or infection in the kidney is unlikely.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://www.HealthcareMagic.com/doctors/dr-manuel-c-see-iv/66014 I would gladly help you. Best wishes.
