hi i dont know what i did to my knee but started speed walking in the beginning of april and around may 14 i did this one excercise with my daughter that u act like ur climbing and 2 days later my knee was swollen and it started hurting went to a orthapedic dr and had xrays which showed nothing and he drained water out of my knee and gave me a cordisone shot in my knee he told me to wait a couple of days and then i could start speed walking again, he also got an mri of my knee. well i waited to here from them but the drs office never called me i started hurting again my knee started getting pains in the middle of the knee inside so after waiting 2 weeks i called them to see about my mri so it took them 2 days to get back with me and told me that i had swelling around the mcl joint and wants me to wear a brace for a month well its been 2 weeks now and i still get pain and my knee feels lik theres a vibration on the side of my knee and im getting pain. i was just wandering if i could hav did more damage in those 2 weeks i was waiting for them to call me?

Good Day
There appears to be traumatic arthritic changes in the joint. The joint ligaments should heal in the time speculated provide you do not exert on that knee. Eat protein rich food and drink plenty of water. Take your pain killers as advised. Get a check MRI after your Orthopaedician advises to see the extent of improvement. Do not worry. You will be fine with a little bit of care.
