What Could Be The Reason For Passing Large Blood Clots?

I had a ultra sound done towards the end of last year and a biopsy of the neck of my womb done which was clear, I have since had my period which started at the end of October and not really stopped since, except for a few day...... been at the very least spotting....... last week I was passing blood clots almost the size of my hand, Consultant took 2 biopsies last week, a big blood clot and a little lump, awaiting results now. I asked the Consultant last week as they could not see my Ovaries on the ultra sound how could she be certain that was not the cause of my problems

Hi,

Ovaries are not cause of bleeding from vagina as they are far away from the vagina . The bleeding could be from the site of biopsy or could be cancer cervix . Wait for the report and if bleeding is high show the gynecologist. The exact site needs to be found (vagina, cervix or uterus ) before it can be cured
