Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Be The Reason For Severe Pain During Passing Stools, Hemorrhoids With History Of Lost Intestines?
I had gastric bypass in 2006 and have lost the majority of my intestines due to complications. I lost my intestines about two years ago and have had to take TPN since. For the past four days, I have suffered from excessive gas and diarrhea. It has been so bad that I have developed burning hemorrhoids. I cry every time I have a bowel movement. I have been using Preparation H suppositories, cream, and medicated wipes. I don t eat spicy foods and have not eaten dairy for the past couple of days just in case it is lactose intolerance. What could this possibly be? And, how can I get some sort of relief?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the fissure, and not be the hemorrhoids, It would have formed due to the hard stools. It may also be the boil in anal area. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. proctoscopy for confirmation. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
