What Could Be The Reason For Tender And Painful Small Lump On Right Calf With No Trauma To That Area?
I noticed a small marble size lump in the upper middle area of my right calf. It is tender to the touch or bump against something and painful when I pressed on it. Just noticed it yesterday/last night and it didn't go away. Not sure what it is....have not had any trauma to the area or done anything that I can think of to cause an issue. I haven't been more or less active....but did spend 5 days in NY two weeks ago and did a ton of walking......nothing overly hurt during after until now
As per your history it looks swelling of soft tissue. According to your history there is possibility of benign swelling around leg. As swelling is not reducing I will advise you to further investigate for the cause of swelling. I will advise you to do MRI and Ultrasound of the swelling. If its collection or benign mass it can be excised.
Till time you can take anti-inflammatory and antibiotic if infection is suspected.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
