What Could Be The Reason For The Nasal Smell Upon Inhaling When The Furnace Is Running And Has Severe Sinus Infection?

I have a chronic sinus infection and for the past three months since the furnace has started to run am getting a nasal smell upon inhaling. This is most prominent when the furnace blower is running. Also can get eye irritation. Family members can not detect an odor. Have had the furnace checked by two people. Am much better when out of the house for a few hours. Any thoughts.thank you.

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
You are suffering with chronic sinus infection, and it is mainly allergic origin. You must be having the continuous allergy and and rhinitis, to feed the sinus.
When the nasal mucosa is raw due to infection, there will be feeling of different smells.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein
rich foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
