What Could Be The Reason For Weakness And Burping Having Diagnosed For A-Fib And Taking Metoprolol?

Have A-Fib and I am on Warfarin, full tab 1 evening and 1/2 tab the following evening and Metoprolol SUCC ER 50 mg 1 tab in the AM and 1/2 tab at bedtime. Had an A-Fib episode Sunday and since then have been experiencing weakness before a BM, have gas, and have been burping more than usual. It is now 6 days since my episode. Sometimes feel a short bout of A-Fib. Blood pressure is sometimes on the high side.

Dear Friend.

Burping and gastritis can be because of drugs you are taking. I assume you must be receiving Aspirin , which can cause a lot of gastritis and also ulcers.
I always prefer to add in my patients who are on Aspirin and so many drugs , Tab Pantoprazole with Domperdone once a day.
In fact , you should be taking these medications as , if any ulcers are there , there are chances of bleeding because , you are already on blood thinners (anti coagulants) like warfarin.

Wish you a good health
