What Could Be The Reason To Recauterize Ovarian Vessels Several Times After A Full Hysterectomy?
I received a full hysterectomy. I was taken in next day because of bleeding & given 4 pints of blood. My ob/gyn would not talk of my 2nd surgery. I have some hospital records thanks to myself. what would cause them to need to go back in. All I can understand is that they had to recauterize ovarian vessels several times. Why would this be?

1) Recauterization is required if bleeding is suspected from the vessels operated during hysterectomy.
2) If there is bleeding it is better to undergo recauterization immediately.
