What Could Be The Reasons For Increased BP And Reduced Heart Beat During First Day Of Periods?
I ve noticed that when I start menstruation, my blood pressure goes up from 90/60 to 110/70 and my heart rate drops from 70 to 48. I also feel a pressure in my chest. This occurs on the first day of menstruation and then goes back to normal after. What could be causing this?
According to a study posted on the national institute of health website, blood pressure is highest right at the beginning of menstruation. Hence don't worry.
