What Could Be The Reasons For Uterus Infection And Cervicitis?
Hi doc, I have a uterus infection and cervixcitis..I ve been given antibiottics ( Tinidazole, Erythromicine, and anothother antibiotic i cant remember). Gynea said i will go in for papsmear test after my review....What are the possible causes for these type of infections?
You have uterus and cervix inflammation and infection....
The cause might be. ..... -Bacterial cause -Fungal infection -Tuberculous infection etc...
You are given antibiotic for bacterial infection....
Here you have planned for pap smear which is useful in rule out various cervical lesions if present like LSIL, ASCUS etc....so pap smear done for it....
If needed endometrial biopsy taken to rule out tuberculous infection or any other lesion if present. .. If TB present AKT given for full course ...
If fungal infection present than fluconazole like antifungal drug needed ....
Take care ....
Consult gynaecologist for that. ...
