Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Bleeding During Intercourse Followed By Burning Urination Indicate?
On Tuesday, I had very rough sex with only my second partner. During it, we noticed I was bleeding and I quickly cleaned up and we resumed our activities. Since then, it has stung when I pee (not really the fact that peeing hurts, it s more like the pee is getting on an open wound). Is the stinging because I may have actually broken my hymen or is it because i was not properly lubricated(foreplay lasted only a few minutes) or is it something else entirely?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history about rough sex, most probable without proper lubrication. This causes too many abrasions and even urethritis due to mechanical trauma.
I would advise you the following: First of all clean all the area with liquid povidone iodine so that the area is made sterile to avoid secondary infection. Drink plenty of water so that the urinary tract is cleared of any attendant infection that can occur so easily. Consult a Gynecologist so that the actual examination can tell you the extent of trauma if any. Be careful next time.
