What Could Body And Headaches With Swollen Glands And Vaginal Sores Indicate?

Hi I am 42 years old and started with body aches, headache a very sore throat and swollen glands, which was within a couple days followed by very sore Vaginal Sores. I saw my doctor and she is testing me for Herpes II. I am not trying to just say this, but I have don t know how I could have got it. I have been with the same man for almost 2 years and have never had symptoms before. I also had protected sex prior to him. I am still feeling very ill. If I do in fact have herpes, which will devastate me.....would that explain why I also feel so sick.

Hello,

Herpes could possibly be a cause for your symptoms. However, you can only definitely know with testing. So please be advised to get the testing done as scheduled.
