What Could Breathlessness, Hours After Running For Exercise, Indicate?
Hello today I went to the park to make some exercise. I ran for 1 houre. I have been a while with out practising any exercisr so this was the first time. After i finished runnig i went home and until now i cant breath properly. I sm 26 years old and have normal weight. Thanks a lot Doctor
First of all you should not begin vigorous exercise like running suddenly. If you have been inactive for a long time, you must start slowly and build up gradually. You must initially walk at a slow pace for atleast 5 minutes and then briskwalk for 15 minutes and again walk at a slow pace for 5 minutes. This is the right way to begin exercise. A warm-up before exercise and a cool down after exercise is very important to avoid any mishap like breathlessness.dizziness, cramps, sprains etc. Brisk walk is the safest form of exercise to begin with. Do not take up intense forms of exercises (running, skipping, jogging, etc.) till you are fairly active for some time and your body has adapted to higher activity levels.
Rest well to relax your body. Your breathlessness is attributed to sudden increase in pulse rate which made your heart work harder than it normally does. Hope this answers your query and clears your doubt too.
