What Could Cause A Bump On The Inner Arch In The Back Of The Throat During Throat Irritation?

I recently got a cold and a few days into the cold noticed a clear looking bump on my inner arch in the back of my throat. I have noticed it off and on for the past few years when I have throat irritation. my pcp looked at my throat and said that it was just irritation but its been a few days and its still there what could this be?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem look certain anatomical structure are difficult to know for the layman and that seems abnormal most of the time in fact this is not true and the same thing might be happening in your case so I would advise you to just forget it, you must be having some allergic condition and this will go away soon hope this information helps you have nice day.
