Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The fibula and the tibia join together at the knee and ankle joints .
So,the swelling in case of fibula fracture may also happen in the knee.
Ice is used to relieve the pain and reduce swelling.
You can use anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
suggest to consult an orthopedist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
