What Could Cause Bumpy, Itchy Rash Behind The Earlobe After Completion Of Course Of Antibiotics For Ear Infection?
I'm finishing a 10 day antibiotic treatment for double ear infections. I am still having symptoms related to the infections and just now noticed a bumpy, itchy rash behind one of my ear lobes. What could it be? I don't have an appointment with an ENT for a few weeks.
The itchy rash may be due to allergy to the drops or medications or may be because of the spreading of the infection. I think you can wait for a while and most probably it will resolve in a few days. If it does not, please meet your ent doctor, he will prescribe an steroid and antibiotic ointment, which will help you.
Take care
