What Could Cause Burning And Frequent Urination That Hasn't Subsided Despite Taking Antibiotics?

I have been on Cipro for an uti for 7 days now and I am still having burning and frequent urination. The culture the drs office took came back negative, but they said to continue the antibiotics and everything should be fine. If it's not a bacterial infection causing symptoms what could other possibilities be?

Hello,
Nice to see your post on HCM.
Your history revealed that you had UTI and treatment was given to you. In spite of the treatment for 7 days your symptoms are persisting.
One thing is if you sent for culture it will come negative because you are on antibiotics.
I would have ordered antibiotics sensitivity testing. In spite of taking Cipro for 7 days your symptoms are persisting you mat be resistant to Cipro and other drugs should be tried for you.
