What Could Cause Burning Pain In Ribs With Breathing Difficulty?
howard1606 @ WWW.WWWW.WW I have had a pain in my chest/ribs for about a month. Sometimes it is a dull pain and other times it is quick and sharp and burning. It can take my breath away. Often it happens from a lying down position to getting up. My ribs hurt to touch, but maybe from pressing on the spot when it hurts.

From history it seems that you might be having costo-chondritis or Myalgia giving rise this problem.
Take some NSAID medicine for few days.
Apply some analgesic cream locally.
