What Could Cause Clogged Ear, Louder Sound And Echos Inside Ear After Taking Naproxen For Pain And Inflammation In Ear?
I think I ve had tinnitus for a couple years now. Anyway... I started taking naproxen for pain and inflammation, and on the 4th day of taking it, I woke up and my left ear felt clogged up but every thing sounds louder and echos inside my ear. Its really annoying and making me feel crazy. I tried to pop my ears all day and nothing happened. Except almost fainting
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of having tinnitus for couple of years. Naproxen can not cause such symptoms that you have mentioned like clogging of the left ear and feeling sounds louder and echoes inside ears. Thisis not heard of till now.
This means we have to find other possible causes and for this I would advise you the following: Get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination, endoscopy and CT scan of the mastoids to get the possible problems.
The treatment will obviously depend upon the findings on clinical examination and investigations .
