What Could Cause Episodes Of Blurred Vision In Right Eye Usually When Having Dental Work Involving Novocaine?
Hello! I have had episodes of blurred vision in my right eye only. Not typically occurring with a headache. It can be triggered when I have had dental work involving Novocaine. The episodes last several hours then subside. What could cause this, please?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, you must be having the manipulation of the dentist on the right side only. When novacine is given for nerve block, the eye muscles, and the surrounding muscles, can have anesthesia, and may become loss of function like the relaxation of the iris muscles and the blurred vision. It may be active for few hours, after the injection.if little anesthesia is given, you may not get the problem. still it is better to consult an ophthalmic surgeon for diagnosis. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
