My nephew is a one year old child. He was having bilateral pneumonia. He took amikacn for the last 5 days.He got discharged yesterday. But yesterday night itself his fever again shoot up to 38 c.Now he is taking paracetamol syrup.why is having fever again or is that because of any other reason?please help us.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Only amikacin may not be sufficient for treating the pneumonia. More over there may be allergy, and eosinofelia, which can cause relapse. I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylefrine, citrizine, diethylcarbamazinecitrate. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
