i have had a headache around the crown of my head, for a few weeks. hospital told me it was tension headache and could be from arthrist at back of neck or shoulders. also light sensitivity in my 2 eyes. how should i treat it ? Paracetamol bring very little
Headache associated with sensitivity to light is suggestive of migraine, rather than tension headache (which is NOT associated with light sensitivity).
Sumatriptan- a migraine-aborting drug- will give substantial relief.
However, a long-term course of a combination of an anti-depressant drug + a sedative + Atenolol will almost certainly cure migraine.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me and will prescribe the advised drugs in appropriate doses.
