What Could Cause High Alkaline Phosphate In Blood?

I am a diabetic, had foot surgery and lost most of the density in my foot and ankle. It is coming back slowly but none the less it is coming back. Recent blood work shows that my Alkaline Phosphatase are high. Could this be due to the bone density loss I had in my foot?

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. There are many causes of high alkaline phosphatase. One is liver disease. Other is bone related. You don't have any symptoms of liver disease so mostly its due to bone related. Consult your doctor and take treatment for that.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
