General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The response of the fever depends upon the sensitivity of the organism to the antibiotic, if the organism is not sensitive, it is not controlled, and fever don't come down completely.
She may need to run tests for confirmation of the disease .
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ibuprofen, paracetamol till the diagnosis is established.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
