What Could Cause Indention And Diagonally Purple Line On Light Patching In Leg?
Hi,ive had small light patching in lower leg, since young. Age 40 now. Noticed recently its going indented and there has developed a diagonal purply line above. Also a small pea shape higher up forms when tense that leg/put weight on that leg (left leg) Renal transplant jan2013 on myfortic and prograf (tacrolimus).anything to worry about?many thanks
Nothing is abnormal.. There is no need to worry. The hypomelanotic patch you have since childhood is nevus depigmentosus. It is a type of mole...no treatment is required. The pea shaped swelling may be small cyst and is of no importance. The purple linear lesion may be ecchymosis.. blood in dermis of skin, that may clear in few weeks without treatment. Just avoid injuries to the skin to prevent ecchymoses in future.
