What Could Cause Itchy Red Bumps All Over The Body, Even On Scalp?
I get very small itchy red bumps on my body. All over but random. They are worse when I sleep. Looked for bed bugs but see none. Boyfriend has his own room and does not get them. I have lived here for five years and this started slowly in June of 2013. It is so bad I can't sleep now! Even my skin under my hair itches. Please help!
Thanks for query on HCM. Random red itchy bumps usually occur due to some allergic reaction called urticaria. There is always some triggering factor for it like exposure to irritants, chemical, perfumes, body lotion, soap and particular diet. You have to be watchful for it to find out the allergen. Otherwise you have to take levocetrizine to subside the alleric episode. You can apply, calamine, aloevera lotion to get cool effect. Go for certain investigations to rule out any underlying condition and proper treatment under guidance of dermatologist.
