Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today I had 2 episodes where I started feeling hot, sound in my ears was muffled, a little lightheaded, and a brief dull pain right side of back of neck. These were less than 20 minutes apart and lasted less than a minute each I'm guessing. A little later my legs were shaking and felt weak. Feel better after a nap except for dull headache across lower back of head. I'm a 65 year old female generally very healthy except I take diovan in the am and amlodipine bestylate at bedtime for high blood pressure. Any idea what causes this or what should I do. I'll probably see my primary care Dr. in the morning. Thanks for your input.
I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms it could be connected with your blood vessels supplying your brain. So my suggestion is to make a ultrasound of your blood vessels supplying your brain to see if everything is ok. But it could also be connected with low blood pressure, so try to intake 1.5-2 L water per day and avoid sudden movements.
I hope this answer was helpful to you.
