What Could Cause Little Red Dots Appearing On Arms And Chest?
in the past few months i been seeing these little red dots size of a pin coming all over my arms and chest and a few here and there alone. I take klonopin for anxiety. I just had a panel of blood work done and all came back fine except for low t which was around 290. I had a bad sinus infections in dec 2013, which i had a catscan and mri and all came back fine....what could cause this
The lesions for which you are worrying may be most probably cherry angioma.. also called De Morgans spots. You stop to worry and keep the lesions as they are. There is proliferation of capillaries in dermis causing small angioma. They may be idiopathic means without cause or may be secondary to diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemias,liver diseases,alcoholism,endocrinal diseases or senile age..etc. But, the drug you mentioned or sinus infection is not responsible.. Still, you consult the dermatologist for firm diagnosis. The lesions are benign, no treatment is required. Still,if you want to be free of them.. The lesions may be removed by electrocautery by your dermatologist. It is a minor procedure done in OPD under local anaesthesia. I hope you got my answer.
