What Could Cause Lower Abdominal Pain, Chills, Hot Flashes And Tender Breasts While Taking Lupron For Endometriosis?

Hi I am a 24 year old female with a long history of sever Endometriosis. I stopped Lupron and Depo injection in October. I have not started my cycle since then, which for me is not that unusual, but i have been having lower abdominal pain with chills followed by hot flashes and now a low grade fever had started today. Besides the lower abdominal pain i have also had extreme tenderness in the breast. I have taken home pregnancy test to make sure i am not pregnant and they have all came back negative. I guess I am just wondering what these symptoms could be from.

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM. What all symptoms you have described you must be aware they are all the side effects of depoprovera that is medroxy progesteoneacetate.
Since all symptoms will gradually recede after the drug has been withdrawn. You need not worry.
But you should still consult your gynecologist
Injection lupron is LHRH. that is leutinizing hormone releasing hormone that causes the prevents the excess release of estrogen and progesterone that occurs in endometriosis.
