What Could Cause On And Off Red, Blotchy Skin From Feet To Chest?

I have a patient that has red blotchy skin that comes on after she describes it as a rush from feet to chest. this is not painful or hot just like a rush. The only meds she is on is atenolol, cranberry tabs, calcium, vit d, and fish oil. Any thoughts.?
