What Could Cause Pain In Abdomen After A Fall While Couging And Sneezing?

hi, i had a fall a week ago, and ever since i have had this pain in left hand side of abdomen, the pain is really sore and hurts more when i cough, sneeze or get in a certain position,any idea what this could be? I actually slipped,feet went straight in the air and i landed on my back and hit head on concrete,the day it happened i had no pain,but the day after i had pain everywhere,after a few days this pain went,the abdominal pain still remains, the only way i can describe the pain is its like when you have stitches and you cough and it pulls on your stitches. thanks for any help you can give. jen

after going through your query .may i know,do you have any bruise at front or back of abdomen/there might be soft tissue injury to abdomen or pelvis so whenever you cough/sneeze it leads to increase intra abdominal pressure leading to pain. my advise would be try to cough gently and take pain killer.
