What Could Cause Problem In Pregnancy?

hi doctor iam lavanya age:21 on jan24 iam married on mar i was pregnant ,i have taken the scan in 9 weeks in scan they found that foetal pole+foetal heart-nil,baby movement-nil,yolk sac-clacified,so i have abouted the baby now i want to know why it is happen,it will happen for next baby also.pls answer me

Hi Lavanya,
I am indeed sorry for the stress you are going through.
Where the sac is empty, we call it as blighted ovum. It means, there is no baby existing inside the sac. It takes about on week's time for the urine pregnancy test to become negative.
However, your ultrasonography picture is clearly suggestive. This is non-viable pregnancy. It should have aborted by now. If not aborting spontaneously, please get the pregnancy terminated ASAP from an Obstetrician.
Please remember Medical Termination in India is legal in India. When you get aborted, get it done only at the Recognized MTP Centre lest it is an offence and also can lead to complications.
