I am having severe lower abdomen pain. I'm discharging blood.. I had my last period 2 weeks ago. Its dark brown and light. Ive been experiences of pain when I push on lower belly. I had 2 severe attacks last week. I was thinking about seeing a urologist, but I'm not sure its the bladder, kidneys, or female parts.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The bleeding that you are experiencing could be the menstrual blood flow. Are your periods irregular? Irregular menstrual cycles are common in healthy menstruating females. The lower abdominal pain could be due to dysmenorrhea. Anti-spasmodics can help to relieve this pain. In case the pain continues despite anti-spasmodics, there may other cause of the lower abdominal pain. In that case, you need to consult your physician for clinical examination and relevant investigations. An ultrasound abdomen may be required to look for any organomegaly or any lesion responsible for the pain.
