Hi here, welcome to HCM.Thanks for your question.

The leg pain is probably unrelated to your neck pain.Since this pain, is a new development, it should be given due consideration.Pain radiating down the calf of your leg is related to pressure on the S1 nerve in your back, which can be associated with disc degeneration at L5/S1 disc level.Narrowing of blood vessels can also result In similar pain.In either scenarios, it would be prudent to be personally seen and examined by a physician.

The initially management will include rest, physiotherapy(like ultrasonic massage or short wave diathermy),analgesics(painkillers) and postural modification.Early investigations like MRI would be indicated if pain is unrelenting with appropriate medicines, any weakness in your leg, foot or toes, new onset numbness or any issues related to passing urine or motions.Since you have mentioned continous unbearable pain,I would suggest you to get yourselves seen and evaluated by your treating surgeon.

Hope this answers your questions.

Thank you

with best regards
